Life Lately May 2019 + High Five for Friday Linkup

TGIF! I thought I’d do a “life lately” post today because I’m in the mood to ramble. Plus, it’s nice to get caught up with y’all:)

First up, I wore this Lilly athleisure look to brunch a couple of weekends ago, and wanted to share it today because I’m wearing some of my favorite pieces. I’m really digging 7/8 length and cropped leggings right now, and Lilly has such cute leggings! Speaking of Lilly, if you are looking for something to request for Mother’s Day, they have adorable mother-daughter matches for all ages. If Lilly isn’t your thing, but family matching is, Old Navy has some cute matches for the entire family!  My earrings are from Ten & Two Shop (the same brand I wore in this post). These earrings are unicorns–statement earrings that are NOT heavy! You can save 30% off your purchase and get free shipping with code TIFFANY30. And finally, how cute are these new Bearpaw Jude slip-ons? The jute detail makes them perfect for spring/summer, and they also come in linen, blush, and black. Save 20% when you use code TIFFANY20 (U.S. only).

I can’t believe Kane is about to finish Kindergarten! I am truly amazed with his progress this year. He’s reading so well, and he’s really caught on in math. He will be 6 next month, and while I wonder where the time has gone, I love the person he has become. He even lost his second tooth at school a few weeks ago (working on a tooth fairy post for y’all!). AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, HE’S FINALLY STARTING TO SLEEP IN HIS OWN BED [insert alllll the praise hand emojis]. We got him this as a prize.

We have a walker (no, not a white walker). Karoline is not just walking, but walking well. She looks so pleased with herself when she does it, too. We had the follow-up to her ear tube surgery yesterday, and everything looked great. She’s already showing a huge difference in balance, and trying to say more words.

Speaking of white walkers, who else is watching Game of Thrones Season 8 right now?! After last week’s episode, I’m almost afraid of this week’s. . .EEEEKKKKKK!!!

I’m also finishing up this last season of Suits, am one episode behind on Riverdale, and need to finish Manifest. I want to start The Handmaiden’s Tale too.

I’m getting a nephew around Kane’s birthday, and we are so excited! My brother’s wife had her baby shower last weekend:) It will be nice to have another sweet baby in the family, and I’m looking forward to more baby snuggles.

It never fails–as the seasons change, so do my beauty products.haha I’m trying out several new things right now, and plan to report to y’all soon. I’m trying this skincare line, this eyeshadow brand, and this treatment for my hair. I’ll also be picking up this foundation to try this weekend.

I’d been looking for a new historical romance author to read. My favorites in that genre are Judith McNaught, Jude Deveraux, Johanna Lindsey, and Sarah MacLean. On a recommendation, I tried Lisa Kleypas and have fell in love with her books! I read the Wallflowers series, and am starting on the Ravenals next.
