Vineyard Vines for Target Pullover + Patchwork Shorts Outfit

This post contains affiliate links + gifted items.

Did anyone else brave the Vineyard Vines x Target release this weekend or was it just me? I survived the Lilly for Target release in 2016, and I wasn’t playing around.haha I hopped online at 3 am and placed a huge order. Afterwards, I couldn’t sleep, so I drove to Target a little before 5 and waited to shop in store. I was able to get everything on my list, including this women’s popover! PLUS, I grabbed an item to giveaway on IG later today!!!

pink Shep Shirt pullover (also in navy + white stripe) // whale patchwork shorts // navy + white rope beach bag with whale fob // sparkly slide sandals // Tory Burch flip flops // mermaid earrings // pink sunglasses

How cute is this Vineyard Vines for Target look?! This Shep Shirt pullover was my #1 item and sold out weighing just a couple of minutes online. I was able to find it on my Target trip on Saturday morning, though! At just $30, it’s a steal compared to the real Shep Shirt’s price of $98. Quality-wise, it’s definitely thinner and doesn’t have all the finished details (no trim along hem, etc.), but it’s a still a great buy!

The shorts actually match the inner collar of the popover, which I love! The shorts were $25, and I was impressed by the quality. The fabric is a little different from my regular Vineyard Vines patchwork shorts, but it doesn’t feel cheap. The length is great and the colors are bright.

And how great is this rope beach bag?! It’s the perfect size, and at $35, isn’t really more expensive than other beach bags I’ve seen at Target. The print lining is super cute, and it has a little inner pocket towards the top of the bag for your keys and cards. As much as I love this though, I’m not keeping it—I’ve decided to do a GIVEAWAY with it! Keep your eyes open on Instagram later this evening for the giveaway post. It will be short, sweet, and easy to enter!

Oh, and did you notice I’m wearing two different pairs of shoes in this post? I started shooting with one pair, which wasn’t what I planned, so I switched halfway through the shoot. But looking at the photos, I liked the way both pairs of shoes looked, so here we are.

Overall, I really like the Vineyard Vines for Target collection. I think that the fit on the women’s pieces is a little big, so consider sizing down. I also ordered some men’s and kids’ clothing, but those are all coming in a big shipment from Target this week, so I can speak as to sizing on those just yet. The accessories are fun and appear to be well-made for the price. What surprised me, though, was the home items! They were even on my radar and yet I left with some kitchen towels and a serving bowl.

Did you snag anything from the Vineyard Vines for Target release?
