Out trip to the Bahamas was amazing. We really had the best time while we were there. Our days were spent frockling on the beach. . .ok, mostly lounging, but you get the picture.haha And you know what? I wasn’t self-conscious about my beach body on the beach. Why? Because I don’t care about what others think about my beach body.

I know, I just recently lost my baby weight, and that was a big accomplishment for me. But even if I wouldn’t have, I still would have been on the beach in a bathing suit. Case in point–last year, I rocked a swimsuit at the beach 9 weeks post-partum.
When I’m out on the beach, I’m there for the experience. If I’m caught up in worrying about what others think about my body, then I can’t have a good time. And I paid too much money to not have a good time. Frankly, the only concern I have about my body is making sure my top and bottom are covered. I don’t care what other people think about my beach body. If they don’t like it, they can look the other way. For real.
I mean, I could go down a checklist of what’s not perfect with my body, but why would I do that? No thank you. And if you’re worried about what I, or anyone other than yourself, looks like at the beach, then you need to re-evaluate your thinking.
Here, I’m wearing a one-piece swimsuit, but it’s not to cover-up my body. It’s simply because one-pieces are IN and on trend right now, and this one is super cute. I wore a bikini the rest of the time and felt great in all three of them. When you stop carrying about what others think about your body, and just worry about what YOU think, it’s such a freeing thing!
Since my swimsuit here is soldout, I wanted to link to some of my other favorite one-piece suits that are in stock and very affordable. You can shop them via the widget below.
