For our 10 year wedding anniversary, I knew I wanted to wear something special. Which is never good, because then that sets me off on the hunt for a unicorn piece that I don’t even know what it looks like. I wanted a white lace dress that was a little flowy, but not too flowy, and looked like it was made for the beach. I hunted high and low for the perfect dress for our anniversary. I combed through websites and stores. Finally, two days before our trip, I found THE DRESS–an antique white lace midi dress that’s perfect for an anniversary, or even a bridal shower.

This white lace midi dress is a $40 sale find from Altar’d State. Sadly, I can’t find it online, but I suggest checking the sale rack at your local store. I’ve also linked some similar dresses above and via the widget below.
When I found it, I realized that what I was looking for was reminiscent of my wedding dress, with the soft white color and intricate lace. I wanted something longer that was midi to maxi length, but I also wanted something that fit in at the beach. This dress checked all of those boxes! It was the perfect wedding anniversary dress, but would easily be a perfect bridal shower dress or beach wedding dress too!
I kept my accessories casual. My seahorse earrings were a nod to the beach, and nude sandals that I could easily slip off.
I wore this white lace midi dress for anniversary pictures and for our anniversary dinner at Gordon’s on the Pier restaurant at our Sandals resort we stayed at. It kept me cool in the heat, even when my curl fell out of my hair and my sticky bra kept slipping.haha
