The whole reason I started a blog is because I love sharing my style with others, whether it be where I got an item or how much it cost. And when I really think about why I love fashion so much, it’s because that’s just one of the ways I express my personality.

Your style is like a handshake. It’s part of the first impression you will make on someone. So I really like to express my personality through my style.
HOW TO EXPRESS YOUR PERSONALITY THROUGH YOUR STYLE
When I’m buying clothes, I tend to look for pieces that “speak to me.” My style is classic with a trendy twist, and in all honesty, that’s sort of my personality too. My style shows that I’m put together, but I like to have fun. It’s bold and happy, just like me.
My personality tends to manifest itself in bright colors, fun patterns, and whimsical accessories. If I have a more serious outfit, I’ll still take the time to pop in some funky statement earrings, or a pop of color with my shoes.
Basically, look for pieces that when people see them, they go, “that’s so you!” Like with these rainbow pants from today’s look.
WHEN TO EXPRESS YOUR PERSONALITY THROUGH YOUR STYLE
Now, as a fashion blogger, I wear a lot of different trends and styles, but I try to wear more “signature” pieces when I know I’ll be meeting with people. It’s most important to express your personality through your style when you’re meeting new people or for important life events. These photos were taking at The Blog Societies Conference, where I was meeting other bloggers, and I wanted to wear outfits that were on brand for me. Heck, I even matched my rainbow pants to my nails. And you see my Ink + Alloy bracelets? My friend Megan of Being Mrs. Fowler picked them out for me–she said, “I know you so well I can pick out your bracelets!”
Remember, at the end of the day, style is a creative outlet. Be deliberative in your choices, but don’t forget to have fun!
