O. M. G. Lilly Pulitzer for Target is BACK for ROUND TWO!!!!!!!!!!! Target is celebrating 20 Years of Design for All, and bringing back some of their biggest designer collabs, including Lilly Pulitzer. Since I survived Lilly for Target Part One and came away with tons of stuff (I own 3 of the the shift dresses), I thought I would spill the juice for you. Here’s tips and tricks to shop Lilly Pulitzer for Target Round Two.

I’m still waiting for my “I survived Lilly for Target” tee, because it was an experience.haha I shopped online and in-store for the original Lilly for Target release. I was on Twitter sometime after 2 a.m. and saw that people had cracked the live links for the products, so you could shop before the official release at 3 a.m. This was a mess, because when the release went live online at 3 a.m., some of the items were already sold out. I snagged this Fan Dance dress and some accessories. I was super disappointed because I didn’t see the link for the My Fans shift until it was too late:( (Side note: I found this dress at my local Clothes Mentor in 2016).
I then headed to the store to meet friends at 7 a.m., and man what a line! Once the doors opened, it was a blur. I ended up bargaining outside of the dressing room to get this shift dress that I wanted. It was a little too big, but a sweet follower snagged the size I needed in Texas, so I passed it on to Della.
It’s so funny, because when I went to the Vineyard Vines for Target release, we were all laughing about how we survived the Lilly for Target release and nothing could ever be that crazy.haha Jokes on us.
Sizing Tips for the Lilly Pulitzer for Target 2019 Release
These tips are based on the pieces I have from the 2015 Lilly for Target release. If you know your regular Lilly size, I would size up one size. These shifts tended to be a little short and fit a little small. The dress I’m wearing fits TTS to a little small. The My Fans shift dresses ran 1-2 sizes small.

The 2019 Lilly for Target release includes some of their most popular pieces, including the Fan Dance dress I’m wearing! There are 30 items in all–women’s clothing, kids’ clothing, accessories, and some home items. All of the items are the same as before, so if you got what you wanted the first time around, you can breathe a sigh of relief.
Tips for Shopping Online for the Lilly for Target Release
Here are my tips for shopping Lilly for Target online. First, go to Target.com right now and sign into your account. Make sure that all of your billing and shipping information is correct. Also make sure that the card that you’re using to pay is saved to your account and all information is correct.
Next, click here to browse the Lilly for Target 2019 collection. There are two ways to prepare yourself, because you’re not going to have time to browse at 3 a.m. in the morning. I recommend shopping from a laptop or desktop. Your first option is to heart all of your favorite items, then click favorites at 3 a.m. and start adding to cart. Your second option, and the one I am doing, is opening a tab for all of your favorites. At 2:59 a.m., refresh all tabs (google refresh all tabs + your web browser for instructions) and start adding to cart. Shift dresses will sell out first, so you may want to check out with just your most favorite one and then try to get more.
Tips for Shopping In-Store for the Lilly for Target Release
Here are my tips for shopping Lilly for Target in-store. You can click here to find out what designers your local stores will carry. If you’re on the east coast or in the south, be prepared to get to your store early and line up. This is not a drill. It will be a feeding frenzy. If you’re out midwest or west, you will probably have a much easier time shopping in store. I recommend calling your store to see what their crowds were like last time. Plus, there are multiple designers being released, which adds to the craziness. If you can’t get your hands on your size, get your hands on something, because you can bargain with it outside the dressing room. Go straight there and wait after you grab what you want. Also, take a friend so you can divide and conquer.
