Happy Friday! So, I ended for this to be a workwear look and then noticed I was showing a little skin after we shot these photos. . .whoops!haha You can totally still make this look work for the office. If you have a long torso like me, though, I recommend just tucking your shirt in. Regardless, this outfit demonstrates how to wear white this fall.
button-up // ankle pants–on sale for $15 today! // heels (save option here) // handbag // necklace
They key to wearing white this fall is to mix it in with fall colors. You want to “ground” the look with a fall neutral, like my cognac bag, and deeper fall tones. This will allow the white to still look crisp and pop, without looking out of place. I know the old rule is no white after Labor Day, but that’s so antiquated. You can wear white all year long (yes, even white shoes!).
Plum is one of my favorite fall colors, and these ankle pants are a steal at just $15 today. These really balance out my white top and grab your attention. You can also style them with other colors for fall like navy, olive, or mustard. If you’re looking for something other than black dress pants to wear to work, grab these.
Also, PSA: this also means you can keep those white jeans too. Don’t put them away with the rest of your summer clothes.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
