Somehow I blinked and October is over. With Thanksgiving up on deck at the end of this month, I wanted to share a casual, Thanksgiving dinner outfit.

What to Wear to Thanksgiving Dinner
Mark it down–this here is the first buffalo plaid outfit of the season (but not the last). While I typically prefer red and black buffalo plaid, I’ve really been digging black and white buffalo plaid this season. This print allows you to ease into the holiday season without going straight to the Christmas plaids, and wears well all year long. My black and white buffalo plaid top is just $22.99. It’s a cozy popover that fits TTS. For my Thanksgiving outfit, I always go for something that’s comfortable and non-restrictive because you need some breathing room in your clothes.haha
You could totally wear leggings or regular jeans with this top, in which case I’d recommend a dark wash. But I chose instead to pull on my teal jeans because I like the color contrast. I also like how the color plays with my gold/mustard knot headband. Y’all, if you don’t have a knot headband yet, get one! Headbands are the accessory to have this season.
Finish your look off with a cozy pair of fur slides. I resisted this trend last year, but I couldn’t hold out any longer. These shoes are dupes for the Gucci fur slides at a fraction of the cost. They add a little polish to the whole Thanksgiving dinner look, but are easy to slip off for that post-dinner nap on the couch.
