HOW TO STYLE A SWEATER DRESS FOR FALL
Sweater dresses are a fantastic option for your fall wardrobe. First of all, they’re cozy and comfortable. When I wear a sweater dress, I feel like I’m being enveloped in a big hug. Second, you can dress them up or dress them down while still being warm!
I don’t like super form-fitting sweater dresses, so I took this sweater dress TTS. If you want something more form-fitting, size down, and if you want some extra length, I would size up one size. The one I’m wearing comes in 4 colors and is on sale for $20.99 right now.
My snake print ankle booties with bare legs give this more of a night-out feel. These boots are under $40 and so on trend for fall. But if this combo isn’t for you, you can switch-up this look by trying out tennis shoes, tights, or over-the-knee boots.
When it comes to accessories, you want to balance out your sweater dress. So long as it’s not a mock/turtleneck, opt for a statement necklace that’s layered. If it’s a mock/turtleneck, go with statement earrings instead. I do want to mention that if you’re looking for a Christmas gift for your mom or a friend under $60, I highly suggest these hoop earrings from Kendra Scott. They come in gold, rose gold, and silver, and are stunning for everyday wear.
