My mom loves fashion almost as much as I do. Years ago, I think when I was in undergrad, she bought me a classic houndstooth peacoat that I still wear to this day because it’s a classic. The small print and updated colorway of this coat, along with the flipped out collar, immediately caught my eye. It’s a fantastic update to traditional houndstooth. . .very classic with a twist, which is what I adore. I think this coat is just a tad oversized. I took a medium in it, but probably could’ve taken a small. Now, it has been running in and out of stock, so keep an eye out for it on the website. The classic houndstooth pattern is still in stock in some sizes, and on sale for $30 today! While I’ve styled it over a more casual look, it would also look amazing over holiday dresses.
I also have to mention these stonewash jeans! These are a throwback to 90’s denim washes, but what I really like is that these are built-in warm jeans.
