Is it too soon to post Galentine’s Day/Valentine’s Day outfits? I hope not, because here we are? Honestly, I’ll probably be wearing red and pink for the next month. We’ll kick it off with this casual Valentine’s Day look. Yes, you can wear a sweatshirt for Valentine’s Day!
heart outline sweatshirt // distressed white jeans // Kendra Scott love knots necklace c/o // Kendra Scott love knots earrings c/o // Tory Burch Kira Shoulder Bag–on sale (smaller version) // Ugg slippers (different colors on sale here and here)
I know so many outfit suggestions for Valentine’s Day are dressy, but I like to keep it real around here. If you’re heading to dinner and a movie for Valentine’s Day, or doing a date night in, then this is the outfit for you. Some people may say that pink is overdone for Valentine’s Day, but they’re wrong. I love pink and red looks for the holiday. Just embrace it.
While you could totally wear this with regular jeans, white jeans are what makes this outfit standout and lets the hot pink shine. And I’ll be honest with you–I tried to make this outfit work with some brown boots, but it was terrible.haha I had Chauncey do a test shot with them on, took one look at it, and said, “Nope!” My pink UGG moccasins complete the casual vibe of this look.
Also, if you’ve not checked out Kendra Scott’s new collection for Valentine’s Day! I’m wearing two pieces of the Love Knots collection. They’re timeless classics that are gorgeous for everyday wear. I’m still working out the details, but I’ll be hosting a Galentine’s Day event at Kendra Scott here in Lexington on the evening of 02/13. I’ll share details as soon as I get them, but I know there will be a 15% discount during the event, and you can call in to order if you’re not local.:)
