Happy Friday, friends! I’m in a chatty mood today, so I thought it’d be fun to just chat. I think it’s been awhile since I’ve done a “just because” post anyways. Last weekend, I got to attend a blogger meetup hosted at Alexandra Pallos Floral & Events. It’s been awhile since I created a floral arrangement, but I still got it!haha
I love how this floral arrangement came together–the mixture of colors, the size, and the shape. It can be nerve-wracking to work with live flowers because any small oopsie can tank you. But for me, it’s also incredible relaxing to stop thinking and just create something with my hands. I think that’s why I love blogging so much. . .while there are portions of the business that are very analytical, so much of it is centered around creating.
Oh, and if you like how headbands look but can’t figure out how to wear one with your hair, I filmed an IGTV video that will be up next week about how to wear a thick headband.
I didn’t make any resolutions this year, but I did make goals that I’m working towards. I have personal and professional goals set for this year. Then I notice that we’re already almost through January and it makes me nervous, because the clock’s ticking. That’s just more motivation, I guess.
Switching gears, I’m hopping on a plane next Saturday for a girls’ trip to LA. I’ve always wanted to visit Cali. While there, we’re going to DISNEYLAND, seeing the Pacific Ocean, and visiting LA. If If you have any recommendations, leave me a comment or send me a DM on Instagram.
