TGIF! Yes, in case you can’t keep track of days, today IS Friday. I know that with many stores either closed or online only, a lot of y’all are shopping at places like Target right now. Target has been my go-to since I can do drive-up, same-day delivery, and online shopping, because I’m not going into any stores right now. So I thought that I would share some of my favorite affordable everyday makeup that you can buy at Target!
PS–there’s lots more in today’s post, including what I bought at the Sephora Sale, the Kendra Scott fundraiser this kicks off today to benefit The Nest, and High Five for Friday Linkup party, all after the jump!
This neutral everyday makeup look has been my go-to look during quarantine. It’s so refreshing but easy to pull off, with products that you can get at Target. And yep, I had on false eyelashes, because I was heading out the door to shoot blog pics, BUT these are available at Target too, so it’s relevant.
Full disclosure–my foundation and lipcolor are not from Target. My foundation is Tarte Babassu Foundcealer and is currently 10% off with code SPRINGSAVE. My lipstick is Lipsense Cappuccino with Glossy gloss. You can snag it from my friends Becky or Ashley. If you’re looking for Target-available alternatives though, try this foundation and this lipstick.
AFFORDABLE EVERYDAY MAKEUP YOU CAN BUY AT TARGET
Winky Lux Kitten Eyeshadow Palette in Coffee (c/o): Winky Lux just launched in Target right before the pandemic hit. This brand has been on my radar for awhile now and is also sold at Ulta. I love their eyeshadow palettes because the color payoff is so good and the shades blend well. I’m wearing Affogato on my lids and Cappuccino in my crease. It really brightens up your eyes and is a simple, everyday eye look.
Winky Lux So Extra Mascara in Velvet Black (c/o): This mascara is good if you’re looking for something simple. I like to wear it on my bottom lashes, and on my top lashes when I’m wearing fake lashes. If you’re looking for a mascara to make a statement with volume, try any of this line available at Target.
Winky Lux Uni-brow (c/o): This brow pencil is similar to Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil. It’s billed as a one color fits all, but I think it works great for brunettes! This is a great brow pencil for an everyday look–no harsh lines, and it gives a softer effect.
Pixi + Rachh Loves Highlighter Palette (c/o): I’m not going to lie–I have a hard time finding a highlighter I love. With fair skin, I struggle with the pigment payoff. But this palette has a range of highlighters that all pop and they’re beautiful on.
Winky Lux Whipped Cream Face Primer (c/o): I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way this feels. It’s very bouncy and feels great on your face. I also love this primer if you want to give it a try.
Ardell Lashes: These are my all-time favorite fake lashes! Be sure to trim the lashes to fit your eye shape. I love the ones that pop with a lot of volume, but Target has tons to choose from.
Duo Quick Set lash glue: And this is my all-time favorite lash glue. It sets quick and goes on clear. Plus it holds well.
Physicians Formula Rose All Day Petal Glow (c/o): For the past several months, I’ve been digging a highlighting blush. You wear it just like regular highlighter, but it gives you a glowy look. I also like this one from Pixi.
Sonia Kashuk brushes: I know I’ve raved about this brand before, but it’s worth mentioning again. Sonia Kashuk brushes aren’t just my favorite affordable makeup brushes that you can buy at Target. They are my all-time favorite makeup brushes! They’re amazing for applying makeup, as they have good bristles and properly deposit color.
I hope this helps out if you’ve been looking for some new makeup that is affordable and accessible. I know we’re in the middle of quarantine, but I still like to get ready. I feel so much better mentally when I get ready for the day, and that includes my makeup.
