Growing up in the South, Easter has always meant getting a new Easter dress, dressing up, going to church, and then having Easter dinner with the family. Easter is going to look a little different this year, and that’s ok. So here’s a casual Easter look for watching the livestream of your Easter service and heading to the backyard for an egg hunt:)
monogrammed t-shirt dress (similar) // beaded bunny earrings–20% off in cart // Tory Burch Miller sandals (other styles on SALE here) // Kendra Scott Presleigh Necklace c/o // Kendra Scott Everlyne friendship bracelet–50% of all proceeds from these bracelets will directing support Feeding America food banks // crochet circle handbag
While you can’t really go to any celebrations on Easter, I think it’s still fun to get dressed as you celebrate the day at home. My dress is super comfortable. I’m wearing a large, so I recommend sizing up one size. It actually comes in a monogram box with a pair of earrings and a scrunchy for your hair.
In case you didn’t notice, I’m wearing all the same accessories I wore for this post. They’re all very versatile, from my jewelry down to my sandals. I can promise that I’ll be living in my Tory Burch Miller sandals this spring and summer, just like I have for at least the last 2 years. Definitely add some fun statement jewelry to your casual Easter look.
REMINDER: Quarantine and social distancing don’t change what Easter is all about. When Jesus died and rose from the grave, there was no church service with fancy dresses. This Good Friday, let’s not focus on what we don’t have right now. Instead, let’s focus on the everlasting hope of Jesus, and know that better days are coming.
