Every now and then, I find a piece of clothing I have to have. And more often than not, I determine I have to have it once it’s sold out or way hard to find.haha Go figure. When I saw this neon green Beachcomber pullover, it caught my eye, but I didn’t buy it. BIG MISTAKE.lol Fast forward a month and I had a hard time tracking it down before finally finding it at a Lilly Pulitzer signature store, Palm Avenue, in Savannah. Since I was victorious, I thought this would be a good time to chat about the NEON TREND for spring and summer! I also wanted to share a cool charitable event with Kendra Scott that I’m co-hosting ONLINE:)
Lilly Pulitzer neon green Beachcomber pullover (similar, similar, similar) // navy crop leggings (similar) // sunglasses (similar) // pink Nike tennis shoes // similar earrings // David Yurman cuff // Kendra Scott Elisa necklace in Lilac Magnesite
Neon is BIG for spring and summer this year! I would say that it is the #1 color trend for spring and summer. Look for shades of neon green, neon pink, neon blue, neon yellow, neon purple, and neon orange. Don’t be afraid to mix and match, or color block.
I’ve had an affinity for neon green this season, which is probably why I wanted this pullover so badly. I even just ordered a neon green dip kit for my nails. Lilly Pulitzer has always done neon right, and they have the brightest colors. This Beachcomber pullover is no different, and the side zippers are a cool detail. I know this is sold out online, but I’ve linked 3 similar options for you above!
I colorblocked this look with my neon pink Nikes. It’s so easy to pair black with neon colors, but I encourage you to step outside of the black leggings comfort zone. Instead, try a pair of navy cropped leggings instead. I think navy looks great with neon!
Yes, neon is totally a throwback to the late 80’s/early 90’s, but it’s so fun!
Now, y’all know I love Kendra Scott. One of the reasons I love Kendra Scott is because they’re always giving back to the community, even during difficult times. I’ve partnered with The Nest, a local Lexington charity supporting women, children, and families in times of crisis, to co-host a Kendra Scott Gives Back ONLINE event. Starting at midnight on 04/24 to midnight on 04/25, when you make a purchase on Kendra Scott’s website and use code Giveback7286, The Nest will receive 20% off all proceeds from your purchase! This is a great time to shop with Mother’s Day coming up–I love my new Kendra Scott Elisa necklace in Lilac Magnesite, but you know I wear so much Kendra! Below are some of my favorite recent pieces. Hit up my DMs on Instagram if you’d like for me to help you shop.
