What?! A blog post on Monday morning?!! Yea, I know, it’s been awhile for one of these. Anyways, today’s post is all about one of the latest trends for fall–puff sleeves. The hottest trend for 80’s bridesmaid dresses is making a comeback for 2020 fashion. Laugh if you must, but you might as well get on board. The reimagined puff sleeve silhouettes make for striking outfits that are so chic.

Now, the puff sleeve smocked top I’m wearing here is actually a crop top. I chose to wear it tucked in, since it was otherwise too busy when paired with the gathered waistband of this skirt. You could choose instead to wear it untucked with high-waisted pants, leggings, or a skirt with a smooth waistband. Whatever you wear for bottoms, though, you want to have a close-fitting waist so that it balances out the sleeves. The color of this top is gorgeous for fall.
My denim skirt is acid wash. I’ve been digging acid wash jeans, and I keep seeing it pop up for fall. Sadly, my skirt is sold out, but I linked two similar ones above. Don’t be afraid to wear a mini skirt. All that “you’re told old to wear [insert clothing item here]” is a bunch of bull. Wear whatever you want. I’m going to.haha
To really bring in the fall vibes, finish your outfit off with some brown or black sandals. The darker colors signal that fall is coming.
Hope your week is off to a great start!
