You’ve probably noticed by now that I re-wear a lot of my clothing. I love finding new ways to wear items, especially when they’re my fave. I’m not always great at pointing it out, though, when I do. So this week, I’m doing something a little bit different and bringing back the “Wardrobe Re-Wear” segment I introduced on the blog many years ago. I styled this black midi dress three ways, and each remaining day this week I’ll share a different look featuring it.

First up is this workwear look featuring this black knit midis dress. This dress is great for work because it’s so effortless. I sized up to a large because I was afraid it would be too tight, but a medium would’ve worked too. It’s the perfect length, and lightweight enough that you can style it through spring.
Since it’s cold out, I added some fun leopard tights. Plain black tights work just as well, but I like the bold leopard tights peeking out. Think of them as the “conversation piece” of this outfit.
This dress is perfect to re-wear because you can style it up or down. For my workwear look, I added pretty earrings and layered gold necklaces of varying lengths. You want something that hits mid-chest—anything shorter will get lost in this look.
And to break up the head-to-toe black color scheme, I lightened things up with a pretty blush headband and blush heels. Headbands are still on trend this year, so I’m wearing them with everything. Yes, they’re acceptable for the office or Zoom.
Come back tomorrow and Friday to see the two other ways I styled this dress—one that’s perfect for date night and the other that’s perfect for running errands!
