Happy Friday, friends! Today is the last installment in this Wardrobe Re-Wear series featuring this black knit midi dress. Look 1 was a work wear look while Look 2 showed off how to style a sweater with a dress. Now, Look 3 once transforms the black knit midi dress into a chic casual look.

This black midi dress is seriously so versatile! It’s like a blank canvas just waiting for you to decorate. For a chic vibe, I topped it with a jean jacket, which is a very intentional casual piece. For years I didn’t need see a need for a jean jacket–I was wrong.haha It also provides an extra layer which is needed at this time of year.

You’ll notice (I hope) that I’ve had on the same jewelry and bag for each outfit. This goes right along with the “wardrobe re-wear.” When I purchase items, unless it’s for a special occasion, I try to purchase items that I will use again and again, including accessories.

To make things fun, I added my glitter slip-on sneakers. I’m of the opinion that sequins or glitter can be incorporated into any outfit, casual or dressy. It keeps things interesting, and adds to that overall chic vibe. You will be seeing sneakers everywhere this year, with outfits at every level. And thanks to Kamala Harris, you’ll even be seeing them with suits:)

If you like this series, let  me know in the comments below and I’ll start doing these more often.
