Wardrobe Re-Wear: Leggings for the Office [Look 2 of 2]

Happy Friday, friends! I spent all day yesterday thinking it was Wednesday–what a pleasant surprise when I discovered it was really Thursday. I’m back today with to wrap up the second installment of my Wardrobe Re-Wear series featuring black leggings. The whole point of this series is to show you different ways to style the same pieces from your closet. My hopes are that it gets you out of your comfort zone and inspires you to put together outfits you wouldn’t have necessarily worn before. Today’s black leggings look is a trendy workwear look that will keep you cozy!

I always talk about how versatile black leggings are. Look 1 featured a very casual tie dye look. This look flips that and shows how to dress up leggings for a trendy business casual look.

When I wore leggings to the office, I always wore them with a more oversized top. This oversized cardigan fits the bill. Its shape and length balance out the leggings and make them more work appropriate. I’m wearing it over a simple white cami, because a fitted undershirt keeps this look from being slouchy.

You could totally wear this with heels, but it looks great with flats! My flats are pricey, but they’re my favorite flats for work (and are on sale today!). You’ll want to add jewelry to this look to fully pull it together.

Have you worn leggings to the office?

Nice to meet you!
