TGIF! I’ve been in and out of Ulta the past few weeks, grabbing an item or two each time. Yesterday, I realized I had accumulated quite a few new products I’ve been loving, so I wanted to share them with you! This fall Ulta haul/round-up is a mix of drugstore and prestige makeup, so there’s something for everyone! And don’t forget to checkout the High Five for Friday linkup party below.
Fall 2019 Ulta Haul: Favorite Foundation
When I was looking for a new foundation back in the summer, an Ulta employee suggested I try the new Tarte Foundcealer Multi-Tasking Foundation. This is a hybrid product, as it also have skincare benefits as well🙌🏻 I went in last week and picking up my second bottle, because I’m in love with how it feels on my face! It covers super well without feeling heavy, and I’ve stopped using under eye concealer since this takes care of that too. Also worth noting is that the container has an airless pump, which makes sure that you get most of the makeup out of the bottle. The shade I grabbed is 27N Light-Medium Neutral.
Fall 2019 Ulta Haul: Everyday Eyeshadow Palette
The first eyeshadow palette is the Tarte Tartlette 2 In Bloom palette. This is a good year-round nude palette, but I think it’s so pretty for fall! The array of colors works well for a variety of needs, and you can easily take looks from day to night. You will be picking this up to use every day.
Fall 2019 Ulta Haul: Drugstore Highlighter
I haven’t used Physicians Formula in probably 10 years, but I received some products at TBScon. I finally tried them out this week, and I’m adoring the Physicians Formula Rose All Day Petal Glow highlighter in Freshly Picked. This comes in 4 really pretty shaded, but I personally love the Freshly Picked because it’s a good, everyday highlighter that shows up well but isn’t overwhelming. The formula is nice and pigmented.
Fall 2019 Ulta Haul: Favorite Faux Lashes Under $10
I stopped getting lash extensions in June, and really miss the look of boom! lashes. I’ve fallen in love, though, with Ardell lashes. They’re super affordable (Ulta has sales on them a lot), and I actually like them better than more expensive pairs I’ve tried. My all-time favorite are the Ardell Mega Volume Lash #250, but I picked up the Ardell 3D Faux Mink Lash #857 and Ardell Double Up Lash #207 this week to try some new styles (BOGO 50% this week). Ardell also makes my favorite lash glue–it’s quick drying and easy to use.
Fall 2019 Ulta Haul: New Drugstore Primer to Try
I got a free sample of the Tatcha Silk Canvas Protective Primer, which I absolutely loved, but it is $52!!!! I’m all for paying for nice things, but I could not bring myself to pay $52 for primer. Then one of my favorite bloggers mentioned the Elf Poreless Primer Putty–it’s just $8! Now, for $8, I had to give it a try. I’m trying it out today, but first impressions are good so far. It felt very similar going on my face, and I’m excited to see how it wears today (I’ll come back and update this post after several days of wear).
Fall 2019 Ulta Haul: Tried-and-True Prestige Primer Favorite
Now, my favorite prestige primer is Smashbox Photo Finish. I always grab the travel size because it fits in my makeup bag easier. It’s my tried-and-true, repurchase again and again favorite. Well, I peeked back at the Smashbox display, and they had this set, which included the $15 travel size I always purchase, for just $22! This would be a great gift to buy and put back for Christmas for any makeup loving friends.
Fall 2019 Ulta Haul: New-to-Me Brow Pencil
Anastasia has been my go-to brow brand for years, but I picked up the Benefit Precisely My Brow Ultra-Fine Shape and Define pencil. So far, so good. It stays on well and is easy to work with. I’m using shade 4.5.
Fall 2019 Ulta Haul: Drugstore Nude Matte Lipstick
I’m a lippie snob. I’m so picky when it comes to lip products. If you’re looking for a nice darker nude lipstick for fall, try the NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in shade Teddy. This one goes on nicely and has some staying power. Plus, at $7, you can rack up multiple colors.
Oh, and don’t forget–you can now shop online with Ulta and pickup in-store! This makes it easier to pop in and out for exactly what you need.
Do you see anything you need to add to your makeup bag???
