Pattern mixing is so fun, but it can be intimidating. It took years for me to really jump into pattern mixing. Once I did, however, I realized just how it was! Now I pattern mix like it’s nobody’s business!  So what’s the best way to begin pattern mixing if you never have before?

My no-fail pattern trick is to take any pattern other than stripes and just add stripes! How easy is that?!  Stripes on stripes is a little tricky to pull off, which is why I suggest do any pattern other than stripes.  This combination tends to work regardless of what other pattern you pick.  Here, I’m wearing a bold floral pattern, and I picked out a striped pattern in a matching color.
As for my skirt, I’m wearing a LuLaRoe Jill skirt.  LuLaRoe is great for pattern mixing because they have such fun prints!  The LuLaRoe Jill sits at your natural waist, with the elastic waistband adding definition to your figure.  The skirt itself features pleating and is very swingy. The material is silky, so it’s great for the warmer months.
Now Becky is styling a LuLaRoe Madison skirt and Nicole is styling a LuLaRoe Lola skirt.  Be sure to check out how they styled their skirts, and enter to win your
OWN LuLaRoe skirt via the widget below!

The colors in that skirt are gorgeous for spring and nude heels are the perfect match for this outfit. I’ve only purchased the LLR leggings which I’m in love with so I can only imagine how soft and comfortable the skirt is.

I love that Jill skirt! I always prefer skirts that fit at my natural waist, I feel like it’s much more flattering for my figure.
