Spring is in the air in Kentucky! I’m so ready to shed the heavy layers of winter clothes. What’s in the spring fashion forecast? When it comes to spring clothes, I’ve loving anything in blush and light neutrals. Peplum tops are here to stay for spring, and you’ll be seeing a lot of wider silhouettes when it comes to pant legs. I threw all of those trends together to create this wear to work look that will take you straight into happy hour!!!
Top: c/o Shein // Pants: Old Navy // Flats: c/o Shein // Earrings: Francesca’s // Necklace + cuffs: Loren Hope via Rocksbox–use code TIFBFF to get your 1st month FREE // Clutch: c/o Charming Charlie (also love) // Watch: c/o Charming Charlie // Sunglasses: Quay Australia
This peplum top is longer than most, and I love that! It’s like a tee, but dressier, making it perfect for those days when you want a more casual vibe at the office. Since wider pants legs are in, I grabbed the Harper pants from Old Navy in a light cream shade. I grabbed these in a tall to get more of an ankle length fit.
To jazz up my outfit, I added pops of blush with my earrings, clutch, and flats. You can easily slip the clutch in your work bag and switch before heading out of the office. And to get that ultra chic vibe, try on these shades! The matte frames are gorgeous, and they give a “who’s that girl?!” flair.
Both my dove gray peplum top and studded flats are from Shein. I’m a fan of Shein because they have cute pieces and awesome dupes at super low prices. My shirt was $10 while my studded flats were $24 (the white pair are on sale for $17!). I’ve been seeing versions of these flats everywhere, so I had to pickup a pair. It’s been my experience that everything runs small, so size up. I tend to wear a 9 or 9.5 in shoes, so I got the biggest size they had– a EUR 40. They were still a little tight, so I put on thick socks and heated the tight areas with a blowdryer. The shoes fit great now!
