We spent last week at Universal Studios Resort in Florida, and it was amazing! I’ll have a post up next week all about our experience (include covid precautions, traveling with kids, etc.), but this week I wanted to share what we wore to Universal Studios. When I go to Universal, I’m all about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and typically dress in Harry Potter themed outfits. This time, however, we changed things up a bit. Here are outfits for Universal Studios, including Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, and the Simpsons!

HARRY POTTER OUTFITS FOR UNIVERSAL STUDIOS/HARRY POTTER WORLD
When I’m at the Universal parks, I’m all about comfort. I try to balance that with planning cute, on-theme outfits for the parks. Here are the Harry Potter outfits we wore to Universal.
I actually picked up this Gryffindor tee while I was at the parks. I wanted something oversized and comfortable. We all dressed Gryffindor, although I swear Karoline is probably getting sorted into Slytherin.haha Kane’s shirt was cool because it glowed in the dark.

Kane loves reading about the Quidditch matches, so of course I had to get him a Gryffindor Quidditch tee. And how precious is Karoline’s little Hermione dress? The most important thing to me is to have fun with our outfits:)

JURASSIC PARK OUTFITS FOR UNIVERSAL STUDIOS
Kane has loved Jurassic Park since he was Karoline’s age. Since Jurassic Park has made a comeback, there are a ton of cute Jurassic Park options. I paired my retro Jurassic Park tee with my black cutoff shorts, which, now that I think about it, kinda look like a raptor has chewed on them.

Always, always pack a rain jacket or poncho for the parks! This isn’t just a rain plan–it’s totally necessary to go on water rides if you don’t want to get drenched. Look at the difference between Kane and me (we took our masks off for the big splash at the end so they didn’t get soaked).
Kane has really been getting into the Simpsons (especially the Halloween specials), and Chauncey has always enjoyed the cartoon, so it was cool to let them do matching outfits for our last day in the park. Honestly, I’m a little jealous of Kane’s Bartman tee.

For her last day in the parks, Karoline wore a Spiderman tee. Let me tell you–trying to get Karoline to stand still for an OOTD picture is like trying to herd cats.
Also, I carried this backpack to the park everyday and it was a lifesaver! It’s the Home from Hogwarts pattern from Vera Bradley, and even has a dedicated wand pocket that I didn’t know about until I got home. Not on was it on theme, but it was perfect for sorting everything I needed to take to the park with kids. I just hung it over the stroller handles unless we were getting on a ride.
